actually, i am doing a paper about "how do British view their royal ceremony?" so i need to take surveys to whoever (no need to be British) people's opinion (especially to those who disagree with the existence of royal ceremony)
i myself think that, those ceremony will cost a lot, and do not relevant anymore nowadays.
hopefully, no one gets hurt, coz this paper
is just a requirement in passing the subject.

nb: please give your reasons and explain it briefly to each answer you write.

Within reason, of course, but I would like another family to be considered now and then. There is more than one line available for crowning. The USA would have been better with such a tangible and breathing symbol of history and traditonal values, in my unworthy opinion.

And the 51st was the Second President in the USA called George
Then this means that the present President is George the thrid!
Is this just a coincidence or do you think it has got something to do with the X-Files :-)

I'm American and don't know a lot about the royal family but I heard some British people want to end the monarchy and have a republic. I like Prince William and Diana was wonderful. As for the rest they are o.k. They are not perfect but people shouldn't have such a beef with them. If people feel like they aren't doing enough in the government Parliment should just give them a little more power. Just make sure they don't abuse it. In America the president has a lot of power but can't abuse it a lot due to checks and balances. I don't think it is fair just to kick them out into the street.

personally i find it a bit unfair (to say the least).
some people are born into complete starvation, and below standard living. and yet people are born into more power than most of us can ever dream of obtaining.
how is this fair at all.

(1) Is there a difference between the German race versus the Anglo-Saxon race? (2) And would English people mind being ruled by a German monarchy?

Dianna should have been more loyal to her husband. Perhaps mom thought so too.

Male heirs are given preference in the succession to the British throne, so they take precedence over any older sisters. As times have changed is it time to change the system so that the eldest child, regardless of gender, succeeds to the throne? I know Sweden has abolished the preference for males - where else has done this?

I mean, what are the criteria for someone to be chosen to get knighted? It seems rather random that someone like Mick Jagger gets knighted. What did he ever do for the sake of the community? Is doing good to the community actually a criteria to get knighted?

I saw the movie with Helen Maran as Elizabeth recently and he was something like a play thing for her until she accused him of treason and was executed, but in the more recent "Elizabeth," in about 1998, he should have been executed for treason, but she let him live. What treason did he commit? It didn't seem very clear to me. Thanks.

I know of queen, princess, countess, baroness. What are some others? Also if you know the translations of the words in other languages that'd be good. I'm looking for a name for my new chihuahua. Princess is so common though. But I want some type of royalty name. It can be in english or translated into another language (such as russian, german, japanese...whatever) but please tell me what the english version is of it too. I hope this makes sense.
