(If you have more information on Queen Isabella that would be apreciated as well)

My family has a lot of royal people and I want to find out more about them. I'm only including ones I'm a direct descendant of.

Njord, King of Swedes
Yngvi, King of Turkey
William the Conquerer
Aubrey De Vere (Justiciar of England)
Rollo Ragnvaldsson
Henry I "Beauclerc" of Normandy
Constance Le Gros, Princess of Brittany
Maud of Normandy

I may post more but I'm mainly interested in these. Also I want to learn more about Njord and his family. Thanks.

the throne (King Harald V of Norway), what would the public's opinion most likely be of having a foreign monarch as head of the UK? Would he share the title of KIng of Norway and Great Britain? Also, if the public opinion was negative, would the monarchy be likely to be abolished for a republic here in the UK?

I have recently taken an interest in several of the royal families, and when researching The Royal Family of Denmark, I found that their Greek relatives are titled as Princes of Greece and Denmark and wondered how this came to be? I know that Queen Anne Marie was born a Princess of Denmark, but I didn't know that the Danish monarchy passed titles down through the female line... Why do the Greeks possess the two titles?

Why are the British so selective about applying their rules of succession?

The current Prince of Wales's great uncle, HM Edward VIII was made to abdicate the throne because he wanted to marry a divorcee with two living ex husbands. The Prince of Wales married Camilla who is a divorcee with a living ex husband. Why isn't he made to give up his succession position?

Also, Camilla's former marriage was in the Roman Catholic church and she was and probably still is Roman Catholic. Why isn't anyone talking about him giving up his succession position?

Also, Charles has said he doesn't want to be defender of the faith. Why isn't anyone saying anything about this?

Thanks for your answers.
