Panos.....are you Greek.? I rest my case if you are...though there's no case to answer for really is there! Even if Our Gracious Queen was so she would still be great person in her own right.

Talkng about the Queen? I like her. One grand lady. Still is strong, and has her wits abouut her. Long may she reign!
(She very well could outlive Charles, now, couldn't she? And I wonder what Camilla would think then?)

I wouldn't want to trade places with her. I don't have as much energy as she has.

She is the persona that dignifies honesty, hierarchy, tradition, Royalty, integrity , soverenity. She is indeed the oldest reigning Monarch besides the deceased Prince Rainer from Monaco.
She has had the role of Queen of England for some decades now. If she ever dies and that will eventually hapen to her, I hope Prince William is than educated and trained enough to step into her foot steps. It will be hard for him to do all what the Queen of England has accomplished. I hope for his sake he will keep the English Monarchy and it's tradition alive. Europe needs it in the worst way. We need that nostalgic flair of aristrocracy.

There is no need to talk about this Lady, and that is what she , like you do. I much prefer having her at the bottom of the Mall than say Gordon Brown because that is what you would get if we did not have her there. The idea of a President makes me feel sick, as the Prime Minister would fill that role....and look what we have had during the past ten years.

you are not talking about qeeny are you? I may be a bit missinformed here,as I dont follow royalty or their shenanigans.
One thing I always ask myself about this,if I am correct,is what exactly have these people done for this country?? (england)
Why the assumption that they oh so special and above everyone else?
Did they or their ancestors ever worked for all the land they own today???
As I said ,I may be missinformed but ,on the other hand I may be right too !
EDIT:judging from the thumbs down this got me I can only think of a couple of things............
1)The english have ....yellow bricks and call them ...''heritage'' ! I suppose they have to look for something to feel proud about these days !Other people are proud about their history, not crumbling bits of yellow stone !
2) The truth always hurts !
