The king seemed like a really nice normal bloke. I think we should overthrow the Windsors and install King Michael. I LOVE the ideal of having a Prince Jet!

Actually Tony Robinson is a million miles from finding the true royal family of the UK. It was mainly based on supposition and was not very accurate.
If we go back to Edward IV and change the course of history from that point on, all the subsequent generations would have been in positions of power and subsequently would have married different partners thus changing every single generation since that starting point.

How do you find the "true " royal family? How far back in history do you go? Which break in the line do you follow? Is this "true" royal family descended from or related to Harold II who was defeated by William I? Or is it one of the later breaks such as the defeat of the Plantagenets by the Tudors or the break from the Stuarts and replacement by the Hanoverians?
There is no absolute right to rule, Kings and Queens are there by the will of the people and these days, Parliament. The royal family we have is the true royal family.

We should certainly not abolish the Monarchy the person he found is very far remote from the royal family and it was only a technicality stop knocking the Royal Family and be proud of them
