COMMENT: Somewhere in the Bible and religious literature, it says that in the last days certain tribes of man will be fighting against God and his people. Americans generally speaking, I feel, in my opinion, are good people compared to the rest of the world. Canada and England has been a friend of America for a long time and has a similar philosophy.

According to the Bible and religious sources, it is the tribe of Ashkanaz (Germans) who will be among those who will do battle with God's people. Chinese are not named as those who go against God's chosen people. Visigos invaded Spain and are, also, a German tribe. So, what gives and who are the good guys in life? Anglos minus Saxons?

The English are in fact currently ruled by the house of deSaxeburg Gotha, who are Germans from Hannover.

The Angles and Saxons were Germanic tribes that settled parts of England by invitation from the ancient Britons (Celts etc) to help defend them from the northern invaders...and the "Anglo-Saxon" peoples proceeded to take over.

Germanic and German are not directly equivalent.

We were/are ruled by a German monarchy - George I was German, and inherited the British throne from his second cousin queen Anne. Since then all our monarchs have been descended from George. Indeed after Victoria's marriage to Albert until the first world war our monarch's surname was the not-very-english Saxe Coburg Gotha.

Unless you are being very specific there isn't really a difference between Anglo-Saxon and German, they are both Germanic; although there were a lot more tribes in Germany than just the Angles and Saxons who were just from Northern Germany.

Where have you been for the last three hundred years?
England has been ruled by a German monarchy since George I , Elector of Hanover.
The present royal family is a direct descendant of this having always married German spouses since then with the exception of George VI who was not the heir to the throne when he got married.
THe population of the USA in the 1940s was one third of German descent.

The German race is the Aryan race.

Saxons were a tribe in Germany; Anglos is a reference to people from England.

The royal houses from both countries have ruled each other, over the centuries.

I don't believe so, and yes, being of English descent, I would mind being ruled by a German Monarchy! Infact, the Aussies have it, cheers.
