I'm having a difficult time getting an answer on what does christening mean? Also what is the difference between christening or baptizing? I know what baptizing is, but I'm confused with christening.

First to my Muslim bro/sis it is not appropriate for us to criticize christianity or judaism, it is not our place to do so and it does not help us. So for those of you asking questions about christianity and judaism such as, as to why they "dont fast or etc." It is not our place to criticize them, this how they've practiced their religion and we must respect that. To my christian bro/sis i would like to say that many of the questions are attacks on Islam & terrorism. Many have no basis. Isn't it time we just had dialogue? no muslim here has supported or defended terrorism or the killing of innocents, yet you insist its "Islamic." Its an appeal for dialogue and understanding and clearing of misunderstandings its up to us "normal" folk in our religions to do so. So if you have serious questions please ask seriously and politely both Muslim, Christian and Jew. It only will benefit us thats what our aim should be.

I haven't been feeling the love from "god" lately, in fact I never have. Some of you who answered are agnostics or atheists. I read your answers. So, my question is, other than sarcasm, what would make you answer that question with "Love" as the answer to how "god" works? Are you high? If so, can I have some too?

i beleive that this world we live in is hell and if we make it through this world of hell worshiping god and being saved and all that stuff then we go to heaven if we do bad in this world then we are just sent back and forced to live life over and over until we get it right. is this already a known religion or can i make it one? if it is already a religion what religion is it and if it isnt a religion how do i go about starting my own church and manipulating the bible so itbacks up my religion? please answer me seriously and dont try to force your beleifs on me. dont just write a whole bunch of bible versus either.

Here's the situation:

My sister Dorothy (20) is married to a man named Matt (20), and had two children with him, Samantha (3) and Xavier (2). Dorothy met Matt in a Residential School for problem children. He has Depression, she has BiPolar Disorder and is a Patheological Liar. She has done drugs throughout the entire marriage, and because of it, both of her children have delayments with speaking and their motorskills. For the past year or two, she had been coming home less and less frequently. During those year(s), she was also cheating on her husband, but he was cheating on her as well.
