Hello Debra M (debraprs),
You have received a message from another user!
From: Lindy
Subject: Your god doesn't exist
Message: So I assume you believe in the tooth fairy and the easter bunny also, right? Catholics are the worst. I bet if you went to your church right now there would be an altar boy getting it on from behind with your priest.
Oh yeah. Catholicism is SUCH a GREAT religion. *rolls eyes*
Is this being open minded and respectful of others? She does not permit returm emails.

Wow...God bless this user.
I would just ignore the message, you and I and other Catholics know that we have always suffered from attacks from other religious sects and they have always tried to disappeared the Catholic church and yet they haven't done it and never will.
The Church of Jesus Christ will never disappear because it was built o n strong rock, Peter.

Debra, if I don't get 2 or 3 of these a day I start to wonder if my email is working.
Do what I do, say a little prayer and delete the email. I have found that trying to carry on a conversation with these people is pretty much useless, they are no more interested in finding truth than my cat is interested in waking up before noon.
I also think that it says a lot that the user would be unwilling to receive any email replies - almost cowardice.

Sounds like he/she is very bitter. Possibly the victim of the same disgusting act they described in the message (not necessarily though). They more than likely had a very bad experience with a church and are now taking it out on those of us who are Christians.
Obviously they know they are going to here the truth when they receive a response, thus they block them. So ignore the ignorant that have the audacity to do this kind of thing. They will rant and rave, but at the end of the day, it is still between you and God. They can't take that away, no matter how hard they might try.

Of course not. This person is not being open minded at all. From the email the person has made alot of generalizations about the Catholic Church. To be honest I'm not really fond of the Catholic Church either but come on. Anyone who makes such comments such as these are making them out of anger and anger does not promote patience and understanding. There are many well intentioned Catholics out there but there is alot of history behind the Church which has given it time to make alot of enemies.

Debra M,
Welcome to the fight.
She is a coward. That's the simple fact of it.
It doesn't say anything about you. It only says something about her.
This is a great thing. You have the Spirit of God in you and the covering of the sacrifice, you are in Jesus. What did He say?
John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
and Apostle Paul:
1 Corinthians 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
So It's no wonder that they don't understand, and do hateful things towards the Gospel, but greater is He that is in us than He who is in the World.
We are so blessed that we can love God.

Being judgemental is a human trait not a religious one. It's quite coward to make such statements to people then prevent any return response, but then again this is the internet where even a rate terrior can come off as a rotweiller. How brave we are when there are no perceived consequences for our actions. You just gotta love the internet.

Just blaming bad men as an excuse to not face up to big qs in life.
And it's stupid.
Besides the mail is full of rash judgements on others.

Oh that's convenient. Not surprising.
As a Catholic, I'm shocked that there is so much hatred for Catholics. And, even more shocked at the fundies who are an elephant and peanut short of their own circus...
