I asked a differnet question about electric vehicles earlier and some responses were interesting. People complaining about have to make changes and be inconveinced to save the planet. So, do you make sacrifices and if so, what are they.

I'd get the money upfront and would only lose it if I opt-out of the bet:

I'd have to be at my friends house at 7:00 AM tomorrow, and I'd have to come in my school uniform. She would then handcuff me in front of me. But she'd cuff my wrists under the uniform sweater, so I could hide the cuffs with the sleeves of the sweater. Then I'd just be like that until 9:00 PM. I'd still be able to eat, go to the bathroom, and everything like that. We'd probably just hang out at her house, or something like that Even if we did go out, the cuffs are hidden. The cuffs would also be double locked, so I won't accidentally tighten them. In the end, I keep the $50. But if I decide to quit, I lose the $50 and have to pay $25.

So should I do it?

(and can I join you??!) LOL. J/K.
Seriously, though. I'm wanting to move out of the state around April/May of next year. If you live in a really great place and like it, please tell me about it and I'll put it on my list to investigate. Just a bit about me: I'm single, I don't have children, I have a bachelor's degree, I am a vegetarian, I love to exercise, I like sports, I like to read, to cook and to bake.
Hopefully there's a city out there for me....Please let me know specifically what you like about your city and any drawbacks that might annoy you. I'm open to info from all parts of the county. Thanks in advance!

Beyond the obvious answer such as image (its cool) or its peer pressure, why do teenagers take up smoking?

More importantly, whst runs through their head when they start the habit?

There are endless campaigns from government, health groups, doctors to quit, mountains of advertising for quit-smoking products, public smoking bans (UK, Australia) and even the cartons themselves have around 50% of the surface area warning people of the dangers.

And this isn't new!! The PARENTS of teenagers today have grown up under anti-smoking canpaigns (given tobacco adertising was pretty much banned in the mid 1970's).

Love to hear from teenagers who have started then stopped, would like to stop, havent stopped or WONT stop.

Thanks - BM

Oh, no silly little answers like "its cool", "why not", "it's my right" please. Thanks

I don't mean to get all feminist, but I was just imagining if women could make babies on their own without the help of men, and we didn't need men, what would the world be like. It seems to be men at the root of a lot of problems, men control the countries, create the wars, control the media, make women think that they have to look a certain way to be accepted into society. Just wondering what other people think on the matter? Hehehe I bet I'm going to get a few abusive replies to this question!
