I heard that in Sweden most 16 year olds detest the thought of having sex and they have next to no sex education. does sex ed help our kids to want to have sex at earlier ages or something, cos we apparently have the highest teen pregnancy rates and STIs in europe!

I grew up in the late 90s-early 2000s when it was considered a fashion sin to wear fur and their were a lot of PETA protests about fur. But in the recent years I've notice PETA doing more drastic stuff against people who wear fur and other animal skins. Funny how they never complained about leather or wool. But anyway, I grew up with the beleif it's wrong to wear fur but not neccessarily leather. I don't have any money really so I don't own any animal skinned clothes, except maybe leather boots (and those are probably fake). Anyway, I too love animals and I attempted a vegetarian diet about 3 years ago and only lasted a year on it. But after reading something about some guy who ate a corgi to protests the hunting rituals the royals do and also reading articles about PETA actually euthanizing cats and animals in private. I really, I'm starting to move to the other side, like supporting someone's right to hunt, fish, or wear fur. Which, I have to admit, I'm on the fence about that.

Im 17 male going to collage...

After ranting about my mental health on previous questions, i have been advised to get a 'hobby', for social purposes. Yet i am too scared to do that. I was going to apply for a gym membership and i saw a good friend of mine and turned round and went home. Thats how scared i am of new things and social interaction.

Any hoo, can you think of a hobby/club for me?

And to add insult to this, they're having it in the events center of the major University of the area! I'm thinking about staging a protest with some friends, a peaceful one just to promote intelligence and science over these fools who preach that the world is 6,000 years old and dinosaurs walked with man, among other rubbish.

So any ideas? I was thinking about holding up some posters outside, with some of their ridiculous preachings, to point them out. I don't know what else. They took out the front page in the newspaper for it, with a quote from some guy around here saying "It will change the community forever." What a joke!

Any ideas here would be great, especially anything specific. Thanks!

I dont know which section this should be in, but, i just wanted to ask, is it just me or does this seem wrong? I have been playing some stupid game on the computer, "soda pipes", and my scores were high enough so that my gf's son (14)couldnt get his name on the top ten. His solution, which she did later, was to reset the scores so he could get on it. What on earth does that teach a kid? When i was a kid I wouldnt even want to be patronized that way, now they think it is their rights. I dont know if he learned it from her, or in school, but it seems like a really poor way to get thru life, and i see it all the time in the lack of pride and ambition people have.

I mean I searched "fat preppy" in the yahoo answers search engines and came up with a search result, which like many others, was like " OHMEEHGEEZZ!1oneone1!1 ITZ SOO GR0OOSS WEHN A FA@T PURSEN WEREZZ A & F OR HOLLISTER. THERE FATZ ARE LYK OHEMGEEING OUT OF THERE SHURTZ ITS SO NAWT A N F MII GOD." I mean, first learn how to type. Second, why are you so insensitive toward fat people? I mean their human beings too. Your not fat if your over a size 8. Yea, like an abercrombie 8. Their large is really a small and i dont know how a person can humanly possibly fit into their XS tops without weighing 87 lbs. Their sick size chart says that a 15-16 yr old should wear their largest size in abercrombie which is equal to an a & f XS. I may only be a teen but i cant fit into their clothes. I've lost almost 30 lbs. If you see someone fat wearing preppy clothes its because they want to live life and not be embarassed of their size and wear what their friends are wearing.

If one is willing to condemn the current generation of youth with cruel labels such as vulgar, sex-driven unappreciative brats is it fair to say that the current generation of adults has been poor role models?

What satisfaction do you derive from answering my pointless queries? Why can't I do it myself? Don't I know how to use a search engine, or read, or tie my own shoes? Also, how come I can't spell, or make any grammatical sense, even in a four-word question? What's my deal, huh? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Here's my thought,

The government could grow, manufacture, regulate, and sell Marijuana (maybe like a pack of cigarrettes). Take the proceeds and fund national health care. What do you think??
Just a big brainfart or is there something to that idea??
