i ask because i know in the 12 step you have to surrender to a higher power & and the pledge folk say mentions god also.
is there an agnostic AA .

I've always wanted to be friends with Gay people so as to understand their lives and community better. I have many gay acquaintances, but I find that gay folk just don't care to communicate with straight people. Its almost asif if youre straight you're just not important in their world and they are so indifferent to you. Why? I don't mock or hate and I support gay rights. So why is it that gay people just like to ignore all the straight people who try to be nice to them? I see this especially with lesbians- I cant remember comming across even one lesbian who had a likable personality.

Then they go away and leave us to mega-volume-deadly-boring commercials which force me (against my social-nicety-principles) to go away myself to another station - ANY other station which is - for the foreseeable 6 minutes - not showing mega-deadly-blah-blah commercials.

I do not believe in the Kyoto Protocol. I believe it to be quite one sided and insufficient to say the least. Even if we the 'developed' nations cut down our emissions at considerable cost we would lose business to China and India who would simply put even more pollutants into the air then before. What say you about all this?

This is in California. My friend got married to this this guy who had his divorce 2 yrs ago. The EX of the guy is so MEAN and my friend is scared that the EX would go to court and ask for more money from my friend's now husband. Does the EX wife have legal rights to get money/increase in alimony from the EX husband even if he is already married to another? They have 1 son - who is now 21... and he is done with the child support. I don't know what to tell my friend, I have not been divorced :-)
