Is the "feel good, self-esteem promoting" culture in our Grade Schools and High Schools producing a generation of kids who belive they are "entitled" to good grades just for showing up to class, and they just can't handle being required to actually do classwork and getting the grades they really deserve when they get to college?

here are a couple of scenarios:

1) you are on the bus, when all of a sudden a severely handicapped person (perhaps both mentally and physically hadicapped) gets on and sits next to you. you feel very uncomfortable with this person sitting next to you, so you get up and move to another seat. Is this simply your preference to move to another seat, or is the basis for your move based on discrimination against people with disabilities?

2) same scenario, but this time it is a person of another color or race who sits next to you. you feel uncomfortable with that person sitting next to you, so you get up and move, just as you did with the handicapped person. is it preference for another seat, or racism/disrimination?

Please sensible answers only !
Why should people that do not follow the basic duties of life have any rights ?
Why cant we punish severely,( just to be politicaly correct), those who murder, rape, torture others ?
Why should they have human rights when they cant follow human duties ?
I know I am not politically correct saying that but I'm tired of hearing that prisonners complain for this that or the other, That illegal immigrants battle to have more rights than locals just because their life is hard !! I must be dreaming....our life can be hard to ........should we murder someone to call for our "human rights" ????#
I dont want to shock anyone by saying this and apologise if I do but would like to read your points of view on what is going on.

punks were seen as the anti social individuals of the '70s now everyone wants to be one maybe all the old people in the future will be wearing hoodies to keep themselves warm.

The way someone dresses can connect them to a like minded group or religion but I believe that the reason we dress as we do is to make ourselves either fit in or stand out if we all wore hoodies then the problem of the 'hoodie' would be eliminated regarding the fear of the clothing but you can't remove their ideas or beliefs

Remember the good old suit of saville row was indeed the chosen clothing of the notorious east end gangsters Ron and Reg Kray

If they had worn a hoodie you Might have seen them coming
