so, if there's a guy who lives in the Arab world and hate EVERYTHING about his country and religion (he doesn't belong to that religion anymore, he's just pretending, because if he say that he gave up on islam out loud he'll get his head cut of) would you welcome him to your country?....America that is?

I don't know a guy in this situation....I just wanted to know what your answers will be :)

ok so here's what i know..
for miss universe..
the winner of miss usa goes on to compete in the miss universe beauty pageant..

for miss earth..
the winner of miss US earth goes on to compete in the miss earth..

so what about miss world and miss international...

does the perosn that goes on to compete in the miss universe or miss earth also goes on to comepte in the miss world or miss international...which winner is which pageant??

because in the philippines..each pageant is different person. in the philippines, the winner of miss philippines goes on to compete in the miss universe. the winner of miss republic of the philippines goes on to compete in the miss world. and the winner of miss philippines international represent the philippines in the miss international. the winner of miss philippines-earth goes on to represent philippines in the miss earth..

so is this how it works in the US too??each pageant have different reps??

Think about it:
They came about to shorten ways of doing business. Essentially. And because it was easier to defend a cluster than dispersed settlements. Which brought about culture, etc.

Today, one can do business everywhere and get information from everywhere. Making complete decentralization feasible.
Moreover, defense of individual settlements is no longer an issue.
On the other hand, cities cause a large number of problems, including crime and pollution. Plus, they make big, fat targets for terrorists (not the case if the population is more dispersed).

Thoughts?

First off, I start by saying I understand individuality is more important than any sort of generalizations which can be made about a certain culture.

That being said, every country has a personality to it when considered as a whole. Taking this into consideration, does anyone know of any specific cultures which have a general reputation for being more laid back, easy going, and slow-natured, yet more old fashioned and formal? I find myself to be extremely accepting of other people's lifestyles, like to relax a lot in my spare time, and have a very easy-going approach to life, even at work. I live in America, more specifically, Arkansas, and would like to see a place with the same amout of relaxed attitude, but with more love for the arts, and music, like classical and jazz.

Any opinions (cause I know that's all they are), would be appreciated.

I understand this is not a question of definite answers, but I would love
