Do you think I have one? Whenever I think about taking pills, I get really nauseous. Just the feeling of them in my throat, and the taste. And the chalkiness. It just makes me nauseous thinking about it.

The reason that I ask this is bc I really want to live there when I grow up! I love the small town feel and Gilmore Girls made their town off of yours. That is so cool. Is your town small? Is it similiar to Starrs Hollow in Gilmore Girls? PLease tell me everything about Washinton Depot...please!!!!! I truely to the bottom of my heart want to live there when I grow up! Do they allow pets? Is it pretty? Do they have town meetings that almost everybody goes to? Is it classifyed as historical?

Thank you in advanced!!!!!

Alright now this is gonna sound really weird but i saw a dude wearing this necklace with a weird looking symbol on it. I really don't expect anybody to get this right but here goes.

It looks like a nazi swastika, but it has 3
"L's"

Instead of 4. They are also spaced out evenly. Can anybody identify this symbol AND give me a link of a picture of it?

I thinking about leaving America. We are going downhill and everyone hates us. Nothing is special about being American, and I don't want to be associated with a country that is corrupt, greedy, arrogant, etc. I don't hate America, but I don't want to be associated with America at the present time. I want to leave, but I'm not exactly 18, yet.

which decade would you return to? I would choose the 80's because it was such a fun and musically tolerant decade. I don't know about anyone else but everythng seemed so much better during the 80's as far as people, acceptance of all types of music, the style of dress, the hair and makeup, even the slang used..."Like Gag Me With A Spoon..." Anyone else have any comments? Love to hear 'em!

This may be the wrong forum for this but I thought I'd give it a try. I am working on a Sociology project that requires me to ask a few simple questions of people over the age of 50 to get a better understanding of social change in America over the last few generations. If anyone is interested please let me know, it would be much appreciated and would only take a few minutes. Thanks!

I heard surfer Trent Munro say something like "and Bob's your uncle." Is it just some sort of common expression in Australia? When does someone use a phrase like that and why? Thanks! :)

In all truth, the content of modern media is reflective of our cultural values. In the past, media content concerned the plight of the working man, which is clearly indicative of the classic American appreciation of the value of hard work. However, today's media is mainly concerned with the plights of Heiress's and others who put forth little effort to gain their wealth. Indicating that many today consider televised spectacles like American Idol a valid career path.

I know many people are spoiled these days. These are mostly for the people under 15/16.

If you are spoiled, you have a cell phone when you are under the age of 15/16. If you do, tell me what you use it for besides talking to friends and "emergencies".

Also, your parents buy you tons of stuff because you ask for it. For instance, you don't buy your own iPod/mp3 player.

Do you spend any money, or do your parents pay for about everything.

Do you find yourself bringing ipods/cell phones (or other expensive electronics) to school and using them to just be material and show them off.

It seems black people in America are falling behind. In urban cities, they score way lower than the national average. Is it because of gang influence and broken family structure? Does poverty play a role? I don't care if you think it's racist because face the freaking facts: More blacks end up in prison than in college. That's the truth. People these days want to be politically correct and are afraid to openly ask questions. Treat black people as human beings and like everyone else. They aren't any special than any other ethnic group. Every ethnicity has struggled, not just blacks. Why then are blacks falling behind academically?

I hate that the government wants to censor the internet. I want porn, communism, anti-U.S. articles, and even hate speech allowed. Free speech is the very essence to human freedom. People have the right to speak their minds without penalty. Even if their views are unpopular or different. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and open debate should be allowed. Why should the government decide what's right for the public? The government is for the people, by the people, run by the people. Free speech forever.
