It seems black people in America are falling behind. In urban cities, they score way lower than the national average. Is it because of gang influence and broken family structure? Does poverty play a role? I don't care if you think it's racist because face the freaking facts: More blacks end up in prison than in college. That's the truth. People these days want to be politically correct and are afraid to openly ask questions. Treat black people as human beings and like everyone else. They aren't any special than any other ethnic group. Every ethnicity has struggled, not just blacks. Why then are blacks falling behind academically?

the black culture is based in reality on being one of the laziest groups around. seriously in all my 25 plus years of working with them.they are some of the laziest SOBs around. now saying that there ARE exceptions. we also have some very very bright blacks. but they break out of that black menatlitiy. and over ride that victim mentality and succeed on thier own. its too bad the blacks have thier "leaders" such as jesse race whore jackson and Al sharpless. to supoprt them. they are such poor examples of blacks. but for the most part they love to fall into the vicitm mentality and they cannot deny that they have that. its pure lazy A S S attitudes. instead of working for their pay they act as if we are supposed to just give them a paycheck. how sad.

Well at the risk of answering this question in a way you don't want it answered (because I see you are looking for a certain response), and thus messing up my chance for a best answer, here goes:

Black individuals are still the product of a racist past. The Jim crow and slave era still resonates in this modern day. Now, I'm not racist. I think it's wrong. But, let's face it: a lot of people are. There are still people that want to stigmatize, stereotype and harm black people. You see, for years, Black individuals have been trying to fit in with mainstream white american society, while at the same time being shunned. That's not very fair at all. And, of course, poverty is still an issue. many districts and neighborhoods were redlined in the past. And, this redlining still exists today. The process of white flight left the inner urban areas desolate and broke. Thus, this created poverty. When there is no money, schools suffer. they lack access to books, etc. And if they're poor, they'll be more likely to try to find a way to may a large amount of money quickly. This may lead to joining gangs and dealing drugs. As for black people being more likely to be incarcerated, that is because of this racist society being more likely to pull over black people or more likely to think they do bad things. Take this example: Bob, a white boy from the suburbs is caught with 20 grams of cocaine. Tom, a black boy at the same age living in the projects of detroit, with out a stable nuclear family is caught with the same amount. In the judges eyes: who do you think will be more likely to rehabilitate? So, the only way to fix these drop out rates is to create after school programs that are culturally cohesive so that children will stay out of gangs so They will want to learn.

For some reason, your question reminds me of this white guy I knew. He replace into continuously conversing right down to me, as though he have been smarter than me along with his 118 IQ (mine is 136). whilst i replace into away for boot camp, aside from an added female, I had the utmost ASVAB score in my branch. i'm Black, by skill of ways. I grew up in between the worst neighborhoods on the southside of Chicago. Getting an training in basic terms wasn't a concern for many. This rfile, and you, look to point that Whites are inherently extra clever than Blacks. this is in basic terms not the case. it is area of the so called "way of existence" of a sizeable sort of of the Black teenagers. you do not could be knowledgeable to play ball, or rap; yet, you would be very effective. i can inform you the Chicago Public college device does not something to sell gaining wisdom of. maximum instructors are there for the paycheck in basic terms. i will not be able to tell you procedures many toddlers I certainly have prevalent who could not examine previous the 4th grade point, yet graduated intense college and dropped out interior the 9th grade. If a newborn would not care approximately getting an training, and has no one to stress the importance of it, they extra advantageous than in all probability won't do properly on tests. dermis shade has not something to do with it.

Why single out one group of people? I don't think you're racist for pointing this out. I do think you are of poor character for trying to capitalize on another groups misfortune. Ignorance is bliss. You can poke fun at people all you want but one day you will realize that your own soul is flawed. There's so much more you could be doing to help this ailing world, but sadly people like you are the norm of todays society.
