The reason that I ask this is bc I really want to live there when I grow up! I love the small town feel and Gilmore Girls made their town off of yours. That is so cool. Is your town small? Is it similiar to Starrs Hollow in Gilmore Girls? PLease tell me everything about Washinton Depot...please!!!!! I truely to the bottom of my heart want to live there when I grow up! Do they allow pets? Is it pretty? Do they have town meetings that almost everybody goes to? Is it classifyed as historical?

I wouldn't if I were you. Jobs are nearly impossible to find, the area is kind of snooty and frankly, the nearest city (Waterbury) could use some help. They have exploding streets, after all (look it up.) And as a Native woman, the lack of indigenous culture in this state, save for a couple of spots, is depressing.
Gilmore Girls is fake as all get out. I wouldn't base anything on it. They're nothing like 99 percent of the people who actually live and work here.
