I know many people are spoiled these days. These are mostly for the people under 15/16.

If you are spoiled, you have a cell phone when you are under the age of 15/16. If you do, tell me what you use it for besides talking to friends and "emergencies".

Also, your parents buy you tons of stuff because you ask for it. For instance, you don't buy your own iPod/mp3 player.

Do you spend any money, or do your parents pay for about everything.

Do you find yourself bringing ipods/cell phones (or other expensive electronics) to school and using them to just be material and show them off.

I'm going to admit.... I'm 14 and yes I'm spoiled.. I have a cellphone and i use it to call friends and take pictures play games and everything that you can do on a phone.

Yes my parents buy me everything... I haven't bought a thing for ever for instance I went to besbuy and was looking at a notebook computer and my dad just offered me it. For the mp3 thing I have a creative zen micro that i didn't pay for and now I'm into Satellite Radio ( I have both sirius and XM )

I don't spend much money since my parents buy everything but I do have a lot of money of my own

For school I often bring my phone and my pocketpc I don't show them off unless word gets out that i have a pocketpc with me

I Know I know.. My life will suck when I'm older

First of all, in my defense, I have a cell phone, which I pay for.

I work for a living, and I live on my own (dorm, etc.). I am fifteen, however, my parent's financial contribution stops at my university's financial aid department. I have an ipod, which I purchased myself to record class lectures and review them with when I study. I pay for my own food, clothes, dates, and you name it. I bring my stuff to school simply because A) I live here and B) I use it at school.

Also, about the "emergency" cell phone issue, I only use my cell when I leave campus. I haven't charged it in two months, so obviously I am not calling friends with it.

As we say in my mathematics department. A statement is true if and only if it cannot be disproved.

No, I've been working in family businesses since I was 7. I know how to work my butt off and save for the future. I worked weekends throughout high school (kept me out of trouble) and I paid my way (loan-free) thru college. I'm also paying my own bills. Far from spoiled, I wish more kids were taught how to work and take pride in self-sufficiency from a young age.
