I will be getting married soon, and I was just wondering, since I don't know that much about how weddings work. I know that traditionally, the couple has a ceremony and a reception, but is there anything else besides that? And how many people would it be reasonable to invite to a "small" wedding? Our guest list right now has about 60 people on it, and my fiance thinks that we should make it shorter. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I remember when I was younger, playing with all the neighborhood kids. We would play tag, kick the can, baseball etc. Now adays they all go to their homes and talk to each other on the internet or thier cell phones. Is technology to blame for this? Or are the parents for letting their children complete access to these technologies?

All my life, I have got up early in the morning, gone to bed by 9-11 PM. If I won the lotto, I would sleep ALL DAY and live at night, when the sun went down.Other people would take care of my house during the day; laundry, dishes, yard, walking and feeding the dog, etc, etc.

I would wake up, turn on my computer, with (of-course) a custom-built 6 ft x 6 ft, or LARGER, flat panel display screen, while sitting on a nice cloth recliner chair, answering and asking questions on Yahoo. Oh to dream. I live in South Florida and just do not like the bright sun and heat any more.

What is YOUR dream life?

I am about to be married to a wonderful man and his daughters will be my bridesmaids. (Yes, it is a May/December romance.)

The girls in question are very nice to me, but I really think they have doubts about my motives - which is normal, I suppose. But I was hoping to give them something that might be able to convey my true hope that one day we can all get along comfortably with one another. Does anyone out there have any ideas?

Also, if you have no *real* ideas, I would welcome sarcastic, yet funny suggestions - I love to laugh!! And sometimes you just HAVE to laugh or cry!

I was in Walmart the other day and a black girl had flip flops on...u wouldn't imagine how smelly her feet were, they were fatal!!! she stunk up the entire store, not to mention she burped and littered her mcdonalds bag on her way to her car....

The USA is by far the richest and most powerful country in the world, its military dominance is as yet unchallenged, it has more cultural and political prestige than anywhere else, so how come so many ordinary Americans can't stand even a breath of criticism from us non-Americans? Why are they so touchy? Why can't they just relax and enjoy how nobody can seriously challenge their right to beat us up for saying that maybe everything they do isn't totally cool?

Obviously I'm not talking about all Americans. Just the ones who get hysterical if you suggest that the American government doesn't always do the most wonderfully altruistic thing. If the USA is really as wonderful as they say it is, why should they care if someone like me suggests that it isn't?

Really people, why ask questions like "Do all Christians know the bible is the biggest lie ever told?" "Why are all liberals so retarded?" "All gays are so unatural and they need to die horrible deaths." Why do people do that? I think everyone should have an opinion about things, but why do they try to be abrasive? And dont get me wrong, I take everything lightly, but I just wonder how other people feel about this kind of crap.

I keep seeing people say black people didn't get here until slavery.
But Columbus's own journal describes seeing Africans in when he arrived Panama. That's just one example.

I wont mention the fact Columbus got the idea to sail to the new world from the west Africans. He documents his own extensive contct with west africans in his journals.
