I remember when I was younger, playing with all the neighborhood kids. We would play tag, kick the can, baseball etc. Now adays they all go to their homes and talk to each other on the internet or thier cell phones. Is technology to blame for this? Or are the parents for letting their children complete access to these technologies?

during summers i keep an eye on my niece and nephews why the parents work. i have 2 kick them out of the house. they want to stay on the computer or playing video games, it is ridiculous.
we were made to get out and play and not come back till dinner. we had imagination and nature.
the good ole days.

honestly, i think parents dont let their kids outside to play because they might be abducted! this is not the same day and age as when we were kids. here's another one: why do parents have to schedule "playdates" for their kids? why cant the kid just show up at the door and ask if "johnny can come out and play"?!!

we can't let our kids go out into the neighborhood and play anymore because there's registered sex offenders around the corner, people that would offer your kids any type of drug imaginable and etc... times are changing my friend... I didn't get to grow up in that era, but I wish I did!!
