I will be getting married soon, and I was just wondering, since I don't know that much about how weddings work. I know that traditionally, the couple has a ceremony and a reception, but is there anything else besides that? And how many people would it be reasonable to invite to a "small" wedding? Our guest list right now has about 60 people on it, and my fiance thinks that we should make it shorter. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

There's isn't really anything else. You have the wedding and then the reception which has food and music etc. etc. 60 people is a good number for a somewhat small ceremony. If you need more help you should try the marriage forums on here.
