I am about to be married to a wonderful man and his daughters will be my bridesmaids. (Yes, it is a May/December romance.)
The girls in question are very nice to me, but I really think they have doubts about my motives - which is normal, I suppose. But I was hoping to give them something that might be able to convey my true hope that one day we can all get along comfortably with one another. Does anyone out there have any ideas?
Also, if you have no *real* ideas, I would welcome sarcastic, yet funny suggestions - I love to laugh!! And sometimes you just HAVE to laugh or cry!

Take or find a picture of them in thier most vulnerable moment. Then purchase a billboard and have thier mugs pasted on there. With the saying LOVE STEP MOMMY DEAREST.
Anyhow, if you really want to do something sweet, buy a small jewelery box with their names on it. Take each of them out for a one on one lady time. Bring the camera. Take a picture of them. Then with those pictures. Put it in the jewerly boxes and write them a note with it. Adding to it the great day you had with them, and perhaps something special you learned about them. Write something that you find special about each of them. Make it personal. Every one has at least one good attribute. If you want to do something a little different? Try scrapbooking. One for each of them and thier life all the way up to where you entered it. It will show them both you appreciate they had a life before you and it will show them you cared enough to take such time to do it.

Maybe you could get together with them and go to a spa for a weekend.

Well you could get them something they will use alot. like one of my friends got all her bridemaids charm bracelets. or i would personally really like it if some one let me have a day for me like go shopping or a hair and nails day.
