These days you can cause a town to be evacuated by simply leaving a cardboard box on a street corner. Now given the latest incident where the entire city of Boston was shaken up by some Lite-Brite pictures, I think we have. Should we become paranoid to the point where we regard everything that we do not understand as terrorism?

Why are people so unnappreciative these days when it comes to them getting respect from certain types of people or why is it that they take some of their friendships for granted or why is it that people only wanna be friends with certain types of people? I think that those people are really sad and unhappy deep inside and they only find happiness in being friends with certain types of people.

Barbaro definitely was a hero, not only to me, but to the entire horse industry in this country. I have worked for years in that business- I know how cutthroat and nasty it can sometimes be. This horse didn't have to fight an unjustified war, kill people, or commit other atrocious acts- and he was still a hero to many people. I don't know what defines a hero to this person who called the colt and his owners stupid, but I will say that you have a lot of problems yourself if you believe that they were. I also have to wonder what your opinion of Barbaro's trainer, Michael Matz, is. Now there's a REAL hero- and don't forget, he's also a lifesaver ( though he didn't perform his heroic act on 9/11) who walked into fire and came out alive and well on the other side. If you want to call people stupid, that's your perogative- just be careful who's on the receiving end of your comments.

I am a college student with no spending money whatsoever - everything I make goes towards bills.

Its not an issue of saving - I "save" money on things that a lot of people dont - I style my own hair, dont get my nails done, no coffee addiction, I shop at Walmart for food/toiletries, havent been shopping for ANY clothes/accessories in many months...

I feel stifled because I have no money. I'm in school, and I'll have a career soon, and I'll make money then, but in the meantime...

I feel like I'm missing out on life because I'm broke. Pretty much everything costs some money - even road trips, etc. because you need gas money.

My college experience seems limited because I don't have rich parents to pay for stuff I cant afford. How do you all deal, or how have you coped with this?

Someone keeps breaking into my locker at school and I dont know what to do. They stole 2 jackets and my ipod..Im soo mad and i really want to catch whoever's doing this..they dont deserve to get away with it. Theres other people in my school who's had this happen to them. If you had a choice, would you rather live back in the days when high tech gadgets did not exist and life was a bit much easier and slower with out automobiles, planes, and trains? Or would you rather live in the future in the next couple hundred years or so from now where everything is assisted with high tech and life will be much more expensive and humans would then have to deal with stresses of that a very serious global warming and all kinds man made detruction that was left from the past is completely detroying the earth? Humans then will have to find unique ways to live and survive.
