If you had a choice, would you rather live back in the days when high tech gadgets did not exist and life was a bit much easier and slower with out automobiles, planes, and trains? Or would you rather live in the future in the next couple hundred years or so from now where everything is assisted with high tech and life will be much more expensive and humans would then have to deal with stresses of that a very serious global warming and all kinds man made detruction that was left from the past is completely detroying the earth? Humans then will have to find unique ways to live and survive.

I'd definitely rather live in the future. We only continue to improve with age, so I want to see humanity in it's prime (as opposed to the formative years we are in now).
The past is important to study, but I've been there and done that.
On to bigger and better things!!

Absolutely in the past. We are on a self destruct mission and I'm glad I won't be around to witness it. But there is still hope is everyone gives a damn.
