be considered neglect?

If a parent knwongly overfeeds a child to the point of obesity, should that not be considered neglect? Shouldn't these kids be removed from these homes that promote that?

All those advertisements for disgestion medicines such as Rennie around Christmas time... This is just emphasizing the fact that some people really overdo it and gluttony is almost glorified! Are there others who, like me, find this disgusting? Then it's roll on fitness programs... PATHETIC OR WHAT?!
