My computer desk is like 5 1/2 feet tall. On the top shelf, I have a globe, a chime clock, and a small bust of Chopin. On the second shelf, I have three pictures in a frame, my husband, my grandfather from about 40 years ago, and my cat. Then I have my computer with a bunch of papers, pens, calculator, and such. Then there's all kinds of pictures on the wall around it. Jimmie Johnson, Kenny Chesney, Astros calendar, Monet painting... Just being curious about y'all.

As the chances of a couple having boy or girl is 50%, how does a society end up with equal number of both the sexes? also what happens in countries like china where there is single child policy?

The term "do gooder" is always used as an insult, but why ? What is wrong with helping others ? Our parents and family "do good" to us, so do our friends and neighbours. If we are lucky, those with whom we come into contact in the outside world will do us good: doctors, bus drivers, hairdressers, teachers. Would your really want to live in Daily Mail world, free of those who wish others well, and want to "do good"?

I recently heard about this former pres. Gerald Ford dude dying and all I can think is WHY? I cannot sleep tonight due to this burning question. Is there an investigation going on regarding the details of his death? I simply don't believe that he just 'died'. I think Bush or Castro was behind it, perhaps that mafia. Does this bother anyone else? What can we do to prevent great men like himself from having to die?

I think all the time, I think Im philospical to a point where it drives me crazy. I sometimes wish I didnt think at all. I am not insane just highly intelligent but its sometimes a curse, I sometimes cant sleep cause im thinking too much....does anyone else feel like that?
