You should read Jay Ingram's "Theater of the Mind"..it goes into some detail describing the constant background 'babbling' that goes on in our minds. I'm serious. This is an enjoyable book.

Every human being in the world has the same thought process that you're going through. It's typical. There's so much out there that's mysterious or unknown that, once you really delve into it, it can be maddening. It has nothing to do with how intelligent you are, everyone does the same thing. And don't worry, you won't cause life to end by thinking too deeply ;)

I know exatly what you mean. I'm not the smartest person in the world, but I'm constantly thinking and over-thinking everything. It's like my brian never takes a break. It causes a lot of problems, which I'm sure you're farmilar with. Problems like not being able to sleep because your mind just keeps going, not being ble to focus on an assignment or task because your mind is thinking about a million other things, getting confused because you're thinking about one thing and doing another or multiple thoughts are mushing together, or losing track of where you are in a book because your mind is thinking about something else. It's absolutely horrible, I know, but what can you really do about it? As far as I know, pretty much nothing except deal with it and make due.

Yes I believe I think too much, and was once told that I had so many objective ideas that I could make anyone's head spin. If its good or bad, I'm not sure, but that I think alot is a definite.

I personally don't think enough to really give this answer much thought. Starting to get a headache already just thinking about it.

Yes, I believe I do. I wouldn't go on to say I'm "highly intelligent", I just have a fetish with thinking, that's all.

yes, i wish i could not think. If i would have never known evil, i will love to think because there would be no space for anything bad, but is not the case.

I feel like you think to much too.
:) Yeah, that wastes a lot of time--I do that. I can't seem to shut myself up.
