Would you want to live like the Amish?

I did when I was much younger! ;-)
But now, no. Honestly, I'm too lazy and enjoy modern conveniences far too much to give them up.
However, there is a lot about their lifestyle - the community, the honesty, the lack of crime, etc. - that I would love to see more of in our society.

No i think its OK they live how they believe but i would miss all my things!! And i think it be hard 2 do eveything by hand all time!!! I did one time with my family visit little amish town, the part i liked best was the horses!! My mom bought some quilts and honey and stuff. It was neat to see but i couldnt live that way at all!!!!

No, because I love the technology that the human race is using today. However, I think that humans are WAY too dependent on electricity and that the Amish are right in some ways. We should preserve our past.

Are you amish? I would certainly not want to be amish because you can't use every day technology. One day I saw people riding horses to Walmart and my dad said they were amish.

i might go crazy with the clothes they wear and all i could do is cook clean and take care of the kids ^_^

maybe, it seems so simple and full of quality. But then again, I love my comp, phone, microwave, etc.
