I'm from the U.S. I spent 2 years in Chile and one of the funny things they do is that they won't let you go out into the cold after drinking hot coffee or tea. They say a gust of wind will come across your face and give you the "Crooked Mouth", which means that your muscles on one side of your face will tighten up and you'll look funny for the rest of your life! Funny!

So, since I'm obviously unable to view my culture like people outside of the U.S. do? What are some of the silly things that we American's do? (Other than all the political crap that everyone talks about). I mean on an individual basis, not the government. Thanks!

I always used to critisize myself, wanting to just be a normal teenager. The truth is though, I'm not normal. I have a disability, and I get depressed alot of the time. More than anything I just want to be normal. But then I started thinking, what is normal anyway? I'm unique, no one can feel what I feel, or be who I am. So why do we feel ashamed of being different in the first place. I say, I'm not going to let myself care anymore that I cant do everything other people my age do. Be unique.

Basically what this means is the fact that it does not contain any offensive ingredients to muslims. I think that its fine. We have healthy heart symbols and other symbols so why not halaal. Its not offensive to me. What do you think

It seems the most common age group on here seem to b teens to maybe early 20's.
Many might find this statement arrogant, but u have to admit u can atleast get a rough idea of someones age by what or how they ask, not necessarily the content. Cos who tells the truth about their age on here. not many id assume. lol

why do people tolerate things that deep in their hearts know is wrong. why are the majority of people sheep and just follow the crowd? i would understand if it were ugly people cause they would just want 2 get sum love, but its average and good looking people like myself who are supporting these horrible acts.

Where do you start when you have no clue where to go or what to do in your life...? When all your dreams can't come true because you don't have the money to go and get them...so how do you fill this "meantime"? without waisting it...

I've dabbled in the arts of pimping, but friends and associates seem to be shocked and appalled about it. A good pimp never forces his hoes to do anything they don't want to - and his basic duties are just giving them rides and making sure they stay safe.

I mean, it's better to have a pimp, otherwise they're out there alone, and could be robbed or raped - or worse.

So, is pimping so wrong?

I go barefoot as much as possible, even in snow and ice. The only exception is when the snow is more than 6 inches deep, then I wear flip flop sandals. I can easily go 2 hours barefoot in the snow, 3 hours w/ sandals, and my feet don't ever get frostbite from it.
