I've moved so often! I get mine forwarded & make a deal with the new tenant to send on any I forgot about for two months. I've usually caught up by then.

I stamp the incoming mail "Not known here" and put it back in the postbox. My friends bought a house from a family who owed so much money - all their bills kept coming in, so I bought them a gift stamp to save them writing it out on so many envelopes : )

What do you do where you live? How come people forget to let people know where they live?

There is a group of young adults who supposedly hate me......these specific people went out of their way to glare at me, look at me then make it seem as if they're talking about me, come up and say mean things, stare at me, laugh, whatever. I just ignored them bc they were trying to get a rise...but isn't that too much work to exert on someone you hate? Why do they do that? Interestingly, it's people from a certain subculture...I've had people hate me before, but they usually just ignore me, which is what I do if I don't like them...is it that they are just jealous bc they say the opposite of love isn't hate which is what they're doing...it's apathy
My other friends said they did this to them too...and I really did nothing to them but be myself, I'm considered quite desirable, and most others really love my personality, but these individuals saw only the negatives of me. What gives for this type of treatment? True hate?

Whats the best way to show someone i really really like them without saying it verbally and without writing it down or anything? And no presents or anything like that. Basically, how do I show someone, that I like them through my body language? No immature answers, please..

I've heard from someone that you could kick the glass on a fire alarm in a fire instead of using a hammer. How is it that one would kick the glass instead of breaking it with the hammer even if the hammer was present? Would it take longer kicking it? Could it take a couple of good kicks for the glass to break? Also after kicking the glass do you need stand back while the glass breaks? How would you clear the remaining glass to reach the handle?

I would like to send this letter to the yahoo answers team, along with signatures of approval.

Dear Yahoo! Answers,
We think that this site is a wonderful feature and addition to Yahoo! It is both fun and informative. Unfortunately, it does get a lot of offensive spamming and trolling. I don't not think that any section gets it worse than the Society & Culture section, particularly in the Cultural Groups and the GLBT section.I think this section could use more monitoring. I know that you guys are very busy, and monitoring sections can be hard, but we, the posters of Yahoo! Answers feel that this is a major issue. We might not be able to stop racism and bigotry, but we can at least try to stop it from hurting the open minded people and making the section useless . All we need is your help. We have tried to report people, but we feel it has proven to be ineffective. We know that you cannot make everyone happy and that people have the freedom of speech, but enough is enough.

I used to stay on the computer day and night and actually had a support job with a major manufacture and then I would go home and spend hours and hours on my computer downloading music talking to my friends reading the news and looking things up.I have done this since the internet was born becuase I have worked on it since it was born.I don't enjoy it as much as I used to and television either. Both things have just lost their appeal to me.Now I feel lost and don't know what to do .I forsook everything else for so long I just don't know that to do anymore.Whats up with that?

I love a kid who asks "how do I figure these problems" without asking for the answer outright... but how often does that happen, really?

So have any of you seen a tatoo after 50 years? I did on my father and it looked sick. The lines were gone, it was faded and looked more like a bruise than anything else.
So this is ART. As art fades it looks like crap. Do we really need art all over our bodies? What is the reason for it anyway? attention? I know other ways to get attention and I am sure you can dream up ideas less destructive for your body. Have you seen the Africans in Africa who are in there 60's with tatoos? This is what yours will look like over time. Painful to remove (leaves scars) too. Why would you get a tatoo, please explain it to me?

Has anyone watched 7 Days...it's that tv show where the government has a time machine that can send a person back 7 days. They use it when something bad happens in the world then this guy goes back to try to fix things. Would you volunteer to be the first person to travel back into time if it were possible?

Guilt? Perverse pride that he got away with it? A last-ditch attempt to make money off this debacle and regain the spotlight?

Or is he just thumbing his nose at the legal system that can't re-try him because of double jeopardy?

What do you think is the influence of the US film industry on the world, socially, culturally and politically? How does it affect the way people think and act, both within and outside the USA? In particular, how does it affect the way people see and judge the USA, including Muslims for example? What is it as a force in the world?

I think people, especially Americans, must really under-estimate the importance of this issue in regard to attitudes, morals and politics, otherwise I'd have had more than 5 answers when I asked it twice yesterday.

Please state where you're from and your religion, ethnicity etc. if you think it's relevant to your answer.

Well say that the people you love are free. Well not really, because you have to pay for the gas to drive there. Before that you have to pay for the car, actually first you have to pay for the clothes to wear to go to the dealership so you don't go naked, well before that you have to have another car, so wait, you have to pay for that car to drive to the dealership. But what if it's not in your car? Well you have to pay for the food to give you energy to walk to the dealership. It goes on and on..
