Because they are insecure and they do not really understand how men are. Porn and masturbation are NOT mental adultery as the guy above me stated, nor are they coping mechanisms for a deeper problem. They are natural functions built into each and every human with a sex drive, and there is nothing wrong with it. Actually, I once read a survey where 40% of men state that they think of their partner a lot when they masturbate. My man is one of those people, though he does use porn in addition to that. I have no problem with it. He's faithful and I know he's not going anywhere. I'd much rather a guy think about other chicks while he's with his right hand than actually go out and get other chicks. For girls who don't understand this concept it's only a matter of time before they run that poor man off.

Good question. LOL, my man is a biker. It's not penthouse or playboy, it's easy rider. He likes to see the young girls on the bikes. I am not worried about him looking, after 20+ years that old "HOG"(he rides a Harley) isn't chasing after any cute little "piglets". LOL, I guess some women are jealous, it would seem to me to be a waste of time to be jealous over a woman in a magazine that the man will never have the chance to meet. He has the hots for Angelina Jolie, that doesn't bother me either.It's just a fantasy for them.

To the guy who thinks women don't look like the women in the books . Most of the guys couldn't get the girl in the book to look at him . That's why he has the book .
To answer the question at hand I don't know why some get angry . It's okay with me , it means he is human .

The women feel threatnend that because they do not look like the air brushed models do and they think the ohter will leave them for the model in the picture if they had the chance

I feel because these women are picking at their spouse and not consentrating on the positive-
How does he treat her?
Is he faithful?
A good provider, father husband man?
We all have our hobbies or things we do not want to part with ..,
I say praise him for all things positive and downplay the negative!

It shows a dissatisfaction with his partner. It is akin to adultery, at least mentally. It is a secret and a deception to hide them. Porn and masturbation are coping mechanisms for deeper problems. It is a waste of time to try and relate/spend time with a magazine when your significant other is with you. It has no redeeming value!

I know, right. For me, shoooooooot...I go out and buy them for my man. It's not all that big of a deal. I won't look at them with him, but I don't really care if he has them or not. If he were to start hiding them from me, I would ask him about it and assure him that he doesn't have to.
