do asian girls date white guys because they think it is better socially for them? are blacks treated better if their skin is lighter?
do all races subliminally think lighter skin is better? whites make up 10% (maybe a little more) of the WORLD'S population yet, all races seem to think white or light skin is supreme!! including blacks! why is this? why do some asians get cosmetic surgery to have more european features? i play lots of video games, most of the best games come from japan and the trend i have seen is blonde hair blue eyed characters being heros...hardly do i ever see japanese heros in these games and they are made by japanese companies...i dont get it....we all have allowed the world to define who we are as a race socially...politically....class and i mean all races...our societies have mentally screwed us all that lighter is better. and nothing is wrong with being light...but neither is being dark. love yourselves humans....love the skin you are in no matter who u are!!

My family and I live in Rural Arkansas and my son goes to an all white school. To promote harmony and awareness his school has decided to devote a week to Black Heritgage and tonight he has to write a report on Black Heritage of the 20th century. This must be from the years 1900 to 2000. What we need are examples of jobs/careers that your parents, grandparents, and great-parents have or had and stories they may have handed down. Their beliefs and religions. Where they were raised. Favorite foods, hobbies, traditions, memories, etc. Be as creative as you need to.

North Korea seems to be adding a tense feeling to many countries about it's nuclear program.It's gotten in many battles already with the U.S. China,Japan,and South Korea have been warned about North Korea. Does this seem like the start of another world war.

attention to this?

There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian
Americans, Arab Americans, Native Americans, etc. and then there are
just Americans.

You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction. You
call me "White boy," "Cracker," "Honkey," "Whitey," "Caveman" and that's OK.

But when I call you, ******, Kike, Towelhead, Sand-******, Camel
Jockey, Beaner, ****, or Chink you call me a racist.

You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you,
so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?

You have the United ***** College Fund.
You have Martin Luther King Day.
You have Black History Month.
You have Cesar Chavez Day.
You have Yom Hashoah
You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi
You have the NAACP.
You have BET.

If we had WET(White Entertainment Television) we'd be racists.
If we had a White Pride Day you would call us racists.
If we had White History Month, we'd be racists.
If we had any organization for only whites to "advance" our lives, we'd be racists.

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce,
and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce. Wonder who pays for that?

If we had a college fund that only gave white students
scholarships, you know we'd be racists. There are over 60 openly
proclaimed Black Colleges in the US, yet if there were "White colleges" that would
be a racist college.

In the Million Man March, you believed that you were
marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and
rights, you would call us racists.

You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and
you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride,
you call us racists.

You rob us, car jack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white
police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black
drug-dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you
call him a racist.

I am proud. But, you call me a racist.

Why is it that only whites can be racists?

I like ham, sweet potatoes, collard greens and cornbread too. Why can't we call it southern cooking instead of "Soul Food" or is that another way the we shall be divided. If I cook it or if you cook it it's still the same meal...

I bet you thought i was going to bring up black history month, BET, Ms Black America..etc..as a truly colorblind person that judges per MLK's doctrine by the content of ones character and not the color of their skin I will break bread with anyone....now where is that oxetail gravy recipie of my grandma's?

even America`s version of world history is different to what other developed countries agree on as facts, some even believe that Europe and particulary England depend on charity and handouts from the US and they`re "forever bailing us out of trouble " i would never have believed it if i didn`t see all these questions and answers on here I`m not saying its the whole population ,or theres not people like that here, but how can there be so many ?
