My turning point was being diagnosed with a brain tumour a few days after my 30th birthday. It made me realise I wasn't invincible!

Having treatment for something like that is scary. It is a long, complicated and sometimes painful experience.

If people ask me about it, I tell them it is both the best and worst thing that has ever happened to me. Sometimes it takes something bad to make you realise how much you value your life. I realised that nothing mattered to me as much as my husband, my family and friends. Nothing is as important as that. Nothing.

as scepticle as people may be when i say i aint abad person i really mean it first of all so please dont judge me. Well it has 2 b when i went 2 jail. I always lived a very good and very law abiding life and i would b the last person u would ever think would go to jail but i did. It is so hard 2 beleive that i went to jail i do actually think that it was always meant to be as a way to actually put me on the road i am now. I have always wanted to just find a girl or be successfull with girls and i always found it hard. But since i went away i started training properly which would never have happened b4 and since then my life when it comes to girls has got so much better to the point i got my dream girl and i firmly believe that i was sent 2 prison to put me on that path. I dont want 2 make it sound like im making an excuse 4 what i did as its not like that at all. I took full responsabillity 4 what i did and if i hadnt i wouldnt of went away. and just to let any curious people know i defrauded a casino but only because i was threatened but that didnt make a difference. It also changed my views on things and taught me not to judge as things aint always how they seem.

My first husband and I were in New Orleans and we'd had a bit of an argument. I stormed off in a huff and realised then that I'd married completely the wrong man for me and I suddenly thought that I wanted to be single for the foreseeable future. I realised whilst storming down the road from him that I didn't need him and that I could make it on my own. 6 weeks after returning to England I finally plucked up the courage to leave him and my life has never been the same since - for the better.
