Why is it acceptable to hit a guy in the crotch but okay to hit a girl in the crotch? Sure, you shouldn't hit anyone, but they seem to promote hitting guys on TV, movies, and almost anything and seem to codemn hitting girls there.

Kicked out roommate out of my house due to catching her stealing. She left right away but left her stuff. After 3 attempts to deliver the items to her she is never available. It has now been 3 months and no attempt has been made to pick up the items. Can I throw away or sell the items with no legal prblems?

Okay, I don't personally. I do however, believe that it has been made into a racist symbol by a bunch of bigoted assholes. So, I guess what I am asking is what do people really think when they see the Confederate Flag? A symbol of pride for our country (southern), or a symbol of hate and intolerance?

i) If you were at the points of a railway junction, and you saw that the oncoming train was going to kill the 5 workmen on the track (and there was no way to alert them or the driver) and the only other option was to send the train down the other line, where 1 person would be killed. Would it be justified to, essentially, kill the 1 person - to save the 5 ?

ii) If 5 people in a hospital all needed an organ transplant to survive, and there were no suitable donors. And a visitor happened to have the suitable organs for all 5 people - would the killing of the visitor to save the life of the other 5 be justified ?

If someone in your community were to declare themselves a vigilante, how would you recieve them?

If this person was motivated purely by a hatred of crime and lackadaisical law enforcement, rather than any racial/religious connotations, and armed themselves with the sole intention of dealing out swift, measured punishment to serious criminals in your community- fighting fire with fire, as it were- would you support their actions or condemn them.

I am speaking purely from an objective viewpoint. For instance, a gang leader who made millions by shipping kidnapped human cargo in to the country, and often killed some of his victims in order to install fear and discipline in the others, was found shot to death in his home- this is the sort of scenario I mean.

What would be your take?
