Hmmm...I'm thinking they're just conceited because of their upbringing. I'm not sure if being biracial has much to do with it. The reason why I say that is because I see tons of black women, white, latino and asian women who have a false sense of grandeur, as well.
Don't get in the habit of clumping everyone into a specific category. It isn't fair to all the really cool biracial people out there who are humble and not snobs.
K?
Take care.

Seems I'm 7 years late hear but that's because the mixed race is actually "superior" if one wishes to use such a term on a genetic level. Now of course everyone won't be naturally better because they are mixed but in theory that's how things should turn out. To make it simple for an explanation, when a white person and a black person produce a child for example, that genes that the child receives comes from a much more diverse pool, 2x the size(not exact but it's a larger pool to chose from nonetheless) of when two white people have a child. With 2x the amount of genes, the strongest will make their way through meaning that the child is left with the best genes that their parents had to offer.
When two from the same race (white+white for example) they have similar genes and as a result it's easier for the weak genes to pass through(example, the ginger gene which is simply caused by excessive recession in the bloodline).

You're generalizing. Just because some mixed girls at your school are like that doesn't mean all mixed people are like that. It doesn't have anything to do with race really, there are simply always some people (in every race) who act like they're better than everyone else or somehow superior.

haha well most people will find that people of mixed race are particularly good looking...there is no denying that, take for instance; alicia keyes, cassie, and that girl from X-FACTOR lol. because mixed race people (typically 1/2 white, 1/2 black) are both two halves of two seperate cultures, they are accepted by both, in most cases. so some may feel as though they do not need to try hard to get people to like them, and therefore may act "superior" to everybody else :-D

I think the problem is with you, being prejudiced. You have a pre-conceived judgement on those people. However, if I am mistaken, then those girls have ethnocentrism (thinking that their "race" is superior" ... Or this could just be girls being girls and you probably have a crush on one of them .. lol

They could be feeling insecure about who they are, and are overcompensating for it by trying to convince others that they are superior, to see what kind of feedback they get so they can in turn convince themselves that they are better... But I wouldn't think they all are the same to that effect.

That's not a mixed race thing...that's just a personality thing...you are going to find heroes and headaches in every race.

All I have to say is don't judge every one of their kind from only a few people. Try giving everyone a chnce, judgeing them on a one-on-one basis, not judging them with the steryotype. (And by judgeing I don't mean the kind where you deal out punishment...)
