I always wished I had enough money to do something great for someone who needs it. Sure there are lots of things I would like and bills to be paid. But I have this friend, she and her husband and 3 kids , live in a 2 bedroom apt. The boy has to sleep in their room. They have no yard. Now this couple, both work, she works 3 jobs! But they cannot save anything. So therefore they cannot get into a house, with no down payment. The rent they pay is practically a mortgage payment, so if they could get in something they could pay it. They have tried different agencies, but they don't qualify. Anyway, If I had the money, I would like to help a couple like that, who do everything right, don't go on the public dole, and just cant get ahead. Maybe you could find out about someone like that. It would change the lives of an entire family.

It depends on how much money you have won. congrats on your win.
I won $5000 on an instant scatchie last december and bought a 42 inch plasma and a fridge and paid some bills.
I reckon splurge on something you have always wanted but could never afford.

Save it. Haven't you ever seen the stories about people who have won a lot of money and then end up committing suicide because they lived too extravagantly and ran into debt? Not fun.

save or invest half....and treat yourself to something nice.....see a professional football or hockey game, purchase some new clothes or shoes, do something for yourself!
