Kicked out roommate out of my house due to catching her stealing. She left right away but left her stuff. After 3 attempts to deliver the items to her she is never available. It has now been 3 months and no attempt has been made to pick up the items. Can I throw away or sell the items with no legal prblems?

I would put all the things in a box and put them by the street. Call her up and let her know that her **** is on the curb and she better get it before trash day.

in case you recognize the place they stay why do not you purely take the stuff decrease back to them, or parcel it up and deliver it? you ought to deliver an e mail correspondence or letter and say after 28 days in the event that they don't come for the stuff this is going to be disposed of. shop a checklist of the letter or e mail correspondence.

Seems like you gave it a good try , however laws are different everywhere so I say cover you....self and call law enforcement . If you are in the right I would them let her know first and set her things out with the trash at the curb !

I would send one more LETTER via certified mail and give her a date to pick up the items. If that day passes, bye bye stuff. Cover your butt though even if it has been 3 months.

i suggest you should inform your landlord/ the owner of the house you are presently renting about the stuffs of your roommate and where to put her stuffs (e.g. an empty room/ stockroom) and try again to locate her address or phone numbers or even her friends or in the school (if she's studying) or at the office( if she's working) to give you information where you can possibly informed her regarding her stuffs that can even iritates you :) and if you had a friend working on legal matters (e.g.law firm) you may seek his/ her advice...goodluck.

I would pack them up and store them, then write her certified mail and give her 3-4 weeks to pick up. If she does not pick them up, dispose of them how you see fit.

Sell them! Keep the money and smile. You've done everything you can to get them to her, if she hasn't attempted to get them then they're yours.
