One of the most ancient profession in the world cannot be a curse, especially when it inspires love. It is the backbone of a healthy society. Good sex, good society.
Prostitution like any other profession, be it in an office, or factory, if you don't like the job but you have to do it anyway, then it is a curse. But if you like to sell love, if you like to get money with pleasure and give pleasure back in return, then I do not personally see anything wrong, just like you like to work in a bar or clean the street.
Reciprocity legitimates!

No matter whether prostitution is a curse or a bliss. Remember only in two states of U.S. it's legal, and in other country, such like China, Japan, prostitution is always illegal. So before we think about the answer, we may feel really lucky in US where we can be the clients legally.

Wherever there is a need there will be someone to fulfill that need. Regardless of how people feel about prostitution it has always been, and will continue to be around. Anyone who reads the bible knows that it was just as popular then as it is now.

Noble? I don't think that there's anything noble about it. Sometimes it's the only way that a woman sees to support herself and her family, but it's a vile thing, and I wish it could be stopped. There are other jobs to do. They may not be as easy, but they exist.

If it weren't for prostitution in large population centres, the rate of rape occurrences would increase. Some people can't control their urges!
