I've been working with children for quite some time and I support the use of logical consequences. With this type of consequence, you usually search for something that would teach them. A simple way of looking at this is finding a punishment that will fit the crime. What are some of the logical consequences that you use for your children?

I read in an anthropology book that sex was completely free with anybody anytime on demand. It was a public affair where the sex took place during the fertility dances. Despite the free sex, there were no venereal diseases because sex was limited to one's own tribe, and fertility rates were low because sex was limited to fertility dances, and people were not obsessed with it. Are these all corect? And why can't we have wonderful society like that?

Since we have to keep a lookout for "suspicious" individuals of someone who "looks" like a terrorist, I wonder how many people who look like Timothy McVeigh have been "detained" and questioned? Or is it just people with "arabic" looks...

I just sit there quietly, minding my own business, but today the teacher told me to stand up. I'm quite averse to doing so. All the student handbook says is that students should remain quiet, it doesn't say whether or not they have to stand up.

Should I avoid trouble and comply, or assert my individuality and remain seated?

There are too many stupid kids here trying to pretend they have real questions. I'd like to ban everyone under 20 ,but I figure we can at least give them a chance to not ask idiotic questions like "Is this a cool cell phone?". I'm serious, questions like that are retarded.

So hes not drooling dumb but he's really slow and we hang out wit him because he was fun to hang out with but ever since we know him when he gets excited he grabs my feet? Sometime he will take off my shoes and socks like violently he does this with other guys too he will throw our shoes and laugh and acts like a dog sometimes will take my sock in his mouth and run around with it should we stop hanging out with him or what can I do so he knows that is embarassing not to be tolerate?

I was taking a shower, when my boyfriend came in and said "A plane just flew into one of the towers of the World Trade Center". And I thought it was an accident.
