I'm French-American, so I get very hurt when others say bad things about French. What are your feelings about French people?

Actually, I find anyone from the EU to be more informed, and better educated than most folks over here. I respect that.

In the past French have resisted intrusions of other cultures and spoken their own minds, so what is their problem.. The french people take much better care of their own.. Productivity is high in spite of their long vacations and short work week so they must be doing something right. Wish I was a french citizen.

I have nothing @ all against the French in general. They're not so different from me. I DO have a problem with some of the political policies of the country. Then again, I have some revisions I'd like to make to the political agenda in my country as well. that doesn't mean I dislike the people.
Please, try not to get offended. People don't always mean what they say.

I am prejudiced because as a young man I met a visiting French girl named Dominique, who was one extremely beautiful human being. As for the "French people" that distinction is silly applied to any group. Don''t let the fearful spoil your day.

To tell you the truth I think that French people are cool, infact I want to learn french.
The best thing to do is learn as much languages as posible.
for instance miself, i know english, spanish, and japan languages. so theres nothing wrong with you and the people who feel the same way as you.
