There are people that genuinely care about others and then there are those that tend to only card about theirselves. Unfortunately I find myself in the first category--I give too much and let others take from me until I have no more to give--I think you just have to learn who is genuine and who is just going through the motion--they can be overwhelming. Live your life the way you would want someone else to treat you.

We are interested but for the most part we don't care. When we all learn to care about each other, then we will be truly interested. That will happen when we all use the light of Christ that is in us from birth. Some call that the Spirit of Christ or just our conscience. We need to value human life and reach out to each other in service and assistance. We can learn something from everybody and that makes each of us better people.

I think there are some people you genuinely connect with, and there are others that are a thorn in your side. I feel though that most people are concerned about the state of the world, and humanity is starting to wake up to the fact humanity is a collective consciousness.

I don't even think half even pretend to care about others anymore. You can sit 20 minutes trying to get out into traffic and not one person will give you a nano-second of their time to let u out . They ride around talking on their cell-phones paying no attention to others. Their children are running wild in the street and they don't even know where they are. I think we have become a self-consumed society. However, there are still a few great caring people out there - many of whom I have met on this site! All of us who still give a da* - Hang in there!

I think that it is truly "Human Nature" to be interested in other humans. We are, like apes and canines, social animals it is vital for us to have relationships or at least contact with others of our kind. Being a social animal naturally makes us want to know about others.

Humans are social animals and because of this we need to socialise with each other, you may find that some humans are more sociable than others though.
