It seems impossible. I see many cemeteries crowded with tombstones and yet at least every week someone is being buried. Do they remove older graves or bury on top of them?

As I was walking into the supermarket I passed a group of teens, multi-racial, i.e., black, white, and hispanic, with their pants low, & calling each other ni**as. Another time I was pumping gas and the car next to me had a song with every other word was ni**a or bit*h. Two hispanic males bobbing their heads to the beat. Being a black woman I was a little put off. But if the rapper hadn't made the song they wouldn't have been listening to it. Am I being too sensitive on the subject?

IF someone were to hurt you in a violent way, why should I not defend myself and attack back. Especially if it is a drunk 30 year old man who is a racist.

Wether you were watching the news as the second plane hit the World Trade Center, or if you found out after the Pentagon was hit, what did you think was going to happen to America? We all were shocked, but what did you think was going to result or happen in the following days?

As silly as this may sound, I thought that it was the start of a war here in America, I mean a war were our military would be fighting the enemy right here in America, and I thought the attacks would continue and eventually destroy freedom making the country a "war torn" country.

But what about you? What did you think would happen?

Why would you be classified as the village idiot? What do you do or say that makes you the village idiot? In this context, a "village" can be a town, a school, your home, etc. It's very broad.

It's the way people's races are stereotyped. We have ****** fools who say a certain person is "acting white" or "acting black". What IS acting white? What IS acting black? Define it. If they can't, then they shouldn't bother talking **** at all. People go "Oh, white people do this. Black people do that. Asians do this, Hispanics do that." They limit themselves by doing that. Ever since since 9/11 people been coming down on Arabic people because they think that they're of "of terrorist descent". What bullshit! Every person, even if they are from the same background, is different from each other!

why do fools talk?!

This is actually a question that I already know the answer to. I know a lot of you will not admit to it, or actually might not realize that you do it. However we ALL do. I just want to see how many people will think about it and admit to it. So do you admit to stereotyping? Stereotyping may not mean that you are prejudice. Do you realize you apply labels to people?

I learned this in my studies in psychology. It didn’t turn over well with many of the students though. Primarily the act of stereotyping is a mostly unconscious process performed by the brain to quickly process social information. We have categories, generalizations, and labels we apply to people so that we can easily retrieve it when we need more information about a person than what they have told us. This goes for race, religion, gender. More positives are tied with white, and negatives are more commonly tied with black.

Repetitive information received by certain types of people will soon end up creating a group inside of our minds. We then assume that everyone will fit into that group until we find that our information was inaccurate. This only happens when the stereotypes are totally out of whack or untrue with a numerous amount of people. Other than that, we apply a temporary label until we find out more about the person. However, you most of the time will judge a book by its cover.

A more mainstream book based on the psychology of the unconscious mind is the book Blink by Malcolm Gladwell.

Not just on this site, but everywhere. I mean, if someone treats another rather badly & they then later get something half as bad back, why is it that they cannot deal with it?
