I never believed in love at first sight, I still think it's silly when I see it in the movies or one TV, but the fact of the matter is I knew I was gong to marry my husband the day I met him (I sent email to my best friend telling her that.) We've now been together for 8 years and married for 6 1/2. Okay, not a lifetime yet, but long enough to know it really was love.

I agree that it's mostly lust at first sight, but sometimes it's a little deeper than just wanting to get in someone's pants. If someone does or says something that has some emotional significance to you, it could be more than just lust. I think there has to be that spark of attraction in the first place, though.

I think agree thatit could just be lust, but in some cases i think that the chemistry between two people can be so strong that it could probably lead to love, but only once you get to know the persons name.

I'll agree with that, because love is when you love the person for who they are INSIDE--so if you're just looking @ the outside than it's just being hormonal.

True love is when you know every last detail about a person and still love them.

so true! i hate when peopl say love at first sight. u can be attracted to someone when u first meet them but love means u r willing to make sacrices for that person and i doubt u r going to risk ur life 4 sum1 u just met that u "love" because u dont even know them.

I agree with you, love at first sight doesn't exist, in fact to be in love means almost complete knowledge of the person you're with, qualities and defects.
