I was in shock, I didn't know what to think. I wanted to leave early from work and get my kids and get home to my husband. When we did get home, I refused to listen to the news I couldn't handle it. I didn't sleep all that night as I thought like you, by then i thought it would be an all out war! I kept thinking something similar would happen the next day or any day soon.

all i could think of was whoever the dingleberry was that planned the attack has got it coming to him...and it became apparent that the world didn't learn from any of the previous wars...especially WWII...that should have been a lesson...
but now i look around at our military, and i know that we could never get the outcome we got back in WWII, because our men in uniform don't have the same testicular fortitude as they did back then.

I watched it on TV and thought no more of it than it was..
I was shocked and horrified with the effects of the attack but
I knew it was a limited attack terrorist and would not be any kind of war within our borders...

the worst part of it all was that a kid in my homeroom class was laughing his as* off the whole time it was playing over the news, he thought it was the funniest thing he'd ever seen.....boy did that create more drama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I first saw it, I watched it for hours, days, weeks. I knew that they were crazy at Iraq, but no-one thought they'd actually invade when there wasn't any reason. When they started blaming terrorists, I thought they'd infiltrate the east to find their man. But no-one knew what was going to happen.

Same here. I just kept hearing
one more thing, and kind of in shock.
Looking back, it seems odd
that if the "terrorists" were
so well organized why there
weren't numerous attacks
everywhere, doesn't it?

That's the same thing I thought I was glued to the TV crying like a baby and they had my son's preschool on lock down no one was allowed in or out. Then I called my dad who was in NJ and saw the whole thing and he told me to stop crying your wonderful president is doing a test and I got pissed off then.

I thought ice-cream was going to fall from the sky. The flavor was supposed to be blood and airplane debris mania.
