I am really scared that the world will end! Please tell me that the world will not end!

The year 2012 will be monumental to be sure. During that year the Mayans will have to make a new calendar. And what with union wages being what they are, stone masons and sculptors are expensive. We should start now to collect donations for the new calendar. I'm kidding you of course. 2012 is the end of Mayan calendar, not the end of the world. Besides, with all the mortgages out there Wall Street would never allow it to end until all debts are paid.

The Mayan calendar predicts that is when the world will end. They (the Mayans) don't seem to be doing so well lately, so I wouldn't put a lot of merit in what they said. Ultimately, there is only one way to tell - contact me again in 2013. The world has been predicted to end numerous times and we are still here. In reality, the world ends when you die, as you are no longer a part of the world when that happens. I hope you live way beyond 2012!!!

Why would the world end in 2012? They said the world was gonna end on 6/6/06 and guess what? It didnt. They said everything was gonna crash and burn and there would be mass anarchy because of Y2K. That didnt happen either. And they are plenty more of these scare-tactics I could mention.
Listen, people have been saying since the middle ages that the apocalypse was near and that Jesus was coming. Guess what? Its been 2000-some years, and we havent all died nor has he come back. Theres no reason to listen to the fear-mongers and bible-thumpers. Theyve been around for thousands of years, and theyve been flat-wrong for just as long. So, theres no real reason to believe any of this "worlds-gonna-end" nonsense.

I'm practically almost certain that the world will be here in 2012 AND in 2013 and thereafter. Relax. If things continue as they are going, you will not be here when the end of this planet comes. Scientisits say this planet will go for several more BILLIONS of yrs yet. Don't worry. You will not be alone and the world is NOT going to end in 2012 or either of our lifetimes.
Read 'Discover' magazine monthly, (or only the articles that appeal to you). Especially read it if people are telling you their unfounded prophesy of doom stories are in fact reality. I know they are not reading DISCOVER magazine. Get some facts there, so you will have knowledge when people tell you doom stories. Then you can reason it out for yourself and not be at the mercy of uninformed, blind fear.

There have been rumors and rumors of the world coming to an end, for years. When I was a little kid, I would see a group of religious people standing on the street corner , proclaiming that the world will end in 1975. Well, it is still spinning in the atmosphere. We never know what Hour the Lord will come. Only God knows that answer. So don't be afraid and if you will go and learn more about God, it will you ease your fear. Having Faith and learning Gods word will help you. We should not be afraid of anything,if we Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. It says: Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be SAVED. WE NEED TO BE READY, FOR WE DON'T KNOW WHAT HOUR HE COMETH!

The world will never end, is all the wars going on in the world that will end mankind if there is no peace. So write to you congressmen and senators for World Peace, and there will be a world for everyone to enjoy for more years to come.

In 2012 .. hmmm.. that is only 6 years from now. What will happen in 2012 ? Pretty much the same that happens on any given year .. a few people will die .. some will be born .. etc. etc. Although , my gut feeling is that there will be more fortune cookies given out that year than any other.

Bush's brother's, son's, cousin will be president, and Cuba will become part of the United States. With a Bush in the White House again I can't make any guarntees about the world not ending. I say if you believe in God, get down on your knees and pray,pray,pray.

In 2012 I will turn 51 years old. My daughter will turn 28. There were predictions the world would end in 2000. Six years later we're still here. Please don't lose sleep over this. Not worth it.
