Why do Hispanics get offended when they're referred to as "Mexicans"? Like they refuse to be called Mexican. Even if they ARE from Mexico.

Stephen Hawking asked this question on Yahoo Answers, and I wanted to get some more perspective, with my twist: Can we really survive for the next 100 years considering all the irraversible damage we do to our planet? What about with regards to war? Are we capable of surviving considering the possibilities of nuclear war? And finally if you think we can survive, what fundamental changes will it take in our species to outlive these circumstances? (Please hold all religious answers).

Absolutely no females allowed in this topic. Now guys, what does your girl do that is of productive use? Other than making offspring they don't seem to do much else...

Maybe lie around the dirty house moaning about what they want.
For all the adults and married couples. Have you ever received a phone bill that was high? What about your household water bill reaching new highs? These and more are the reasons why us guys do not need females. There's bound to be at least one pathetic female who is going to be in denial and answer this question with something like: "wat da hell. us females gave birth 2 u". The reality is, "So...what? Those damn women couldn't of had the children with us guys' semen.

So I'm making a stand. Leave all your wives, your girlfriends and friends. You're life will be cheaper for your hip pocket and alot more fun without those long haired, always getting their nails and face done humans.

Thank you guys for listening.

I'm referring to this because there are people that really would like to stop but they can't. One of the things that stops them from trying to stop is that they can't take the additional expense of a medication that may or may not work.

In addition, I wonder how many crimes are committed just because the person didn't have a cigarette. Believe it or not, yes it is that bad. We never know what straw is going to break the person. They may be on egde and burst out where they wouldn't have.

I used to like it, but now I've grown up, and I can't stand most of it. I usually don't like it because:

a) it is too abstract
b) it is pretentious
c) they are depressing

Don't get me wrong, there is some poetry I still appreciate, but most of it I can't handle.

There is a building in Melbourne (Collins St) with an unsual symbol on it. There are two circles, a larger one and a smaller on which sits on the circumference of the other at the 12 o'clock position.

In the larger circle there is a Star of David with an ankh in the centre of the hexagon formed. In the smaller circle there is a Swastika.

I'm guessing the building pre-dates WW2 and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to the symbolgy.
