It is said (and this is according to a text about greek myths) that the God Zeus lusted after Metis the Titaness and in an attempt to prevent her from giving birth to a son that would end his life, he opened his mouth and ate her. He eventually had this massive headache, and with the help of some friends (At least I am assuming they were) they cracked his head open and out jumped Athene fully armed, and fully grown.

She was then found by the three nymphs of Libya, and raised.

So does this mean she sprang From Zeus' head fully grown and then managed to find a way of reverting back to a child so that she could be raised?

Or did she spring from Zeus' head as a child holding adult sized battle equipment.

In either case why wasn't she put in a juvenile detention centre for harming another person. Actually it was two. Because she also killed her friend Pallas while they were playing.

In Library, we watched a video teling a story. It was about a man, and he owned a publishing place. One day, a man walked into the publishing place and showed he man some pictures. He said he had the storys back at his house. The publisher loved the pictures and told the man to bring the storys by the next day. They decided on a time (I don't remember what the time was) and
the man left. The next day at the time the man was to come back, he never came. A few days passed. So the publisher went to the man's house. When he fianlly got inside (I don't know how) He found the pictures on a counter (I think)
He searched the house. The storys were not in there. He never came back. No one knows what happend to the man or why he never came back. One thing that still gets to be was: Te storys he wrote, were mysteries. and horrers.


If anyone can help me with that story, I don't remember it very well, That would be very helpful. Thank you.

I'm still not sure, but there seems to be a fair amount of evidence to suggest some sort of unknown primate lives in ceratin parts of the world.
I watched a discovery channel show yesterday and a plaster casting of a footprint revealed "dermal ridges" that a fingerprint expert believes are autherntic.
I live in "Bigfoot country" or at least that's what some people call it, and my people (Miwok) have several legends about "the Hairy Man."
There is a Yokuts cave painting east of Bakersfield, CA that could only be described as a large, hairy, ape-like man standing on 2 legs. Many native-american tribes also have their own "Hairy man" stories.
Many people claim that if Bigfoot exists we would have killed or captured one by now. But, a lot of creatures that were thought to be extinct or only myth have been discovered.
Do you think Bigfoot exists? I don't know...I'm asking.

my quest is "why ojo board is not that much famous?, why no one try to research it?"am that much surprised by seing the movement of glass in ojo board...coz its not an ordinary move..
itz something else...if a simple quest we ask ,the glass will rapidly move...and the very importent point is we didnt use an ojo board but just a floor with a glass,kandle and a coin....try to help me,,i need a valid answer..

Taken into consideration if there were or are such beasts:
1. A Russian legend said that it was necessary to jump over a fallen tree in the forest, stab it with a small copper knife & chant a spell.
2. Eating the brains or roasted flesh of a wolf.
3. Drinking water that collected in a wolf's paw print, or water-holes frequented by wolves.
4. Eating the brains of an animal killed by wolves.
5. Rubbing an ointment of boiled wolfbane, opium, foxgloves, bat blood, and the fat of a murdered child onto one's body and chanting certain spells. This must be done on a full moon at midnight. This spell is only broken by death or stabbing his forehead 3 times.
