I am doing an essay and I would like to know what people think of reincarnation. I accept all types of theories :D

I don't have a theory, since I believe that it is just as fictional as heaven and hell. But I can tell you that among different Buddhist sects, there are different views about it. Some believe that you, literally, are reborn into another body. Others believe that you are "reborn" in the sense that the spiritual "energy" or whatever you want to call it that is in you will rejoin the universal spiritual energy when you die, and that new people will be born with that energy. And some even think that you are "reincarnated" in the sense that memories of you and the things you did will carry on after your death.

I think that reincarnation is an amazing idea, i would love to die and then come back as an animal, even just a dragonfly that only lives for a day, because living so long you get to experience many things but to be given just one day to fullfill everything life intended for you would be so cool!
I also think that it would kind of sad becasue i dont know if you have read the book fluke by james herbert, but it is about a dog that was once a human but he slowely gets his human memory back and he remembers that he was once inlove with abeautiful woman! i think it would be sad to be reincarnated and then regain all memory of a past life, i would find it distressing knowing i could never hold that person again or speak to them.
but overall i think it would be very interesting to experience life from a diferent perspective.
id hope that those who torture or eat animals are reincarnated as animals so perhaps they can see what they did was evil!

Some religions believe in reincarnations of some sort.Some believe rats or monkeys etc. How would you like to come back as a dog in North Korea? Gooooooooood dog.

Yes i believe,100% for two reasons....
1...My faith, Wicca believes when we die we go to summer land(wiccan heaven, to await rebirth.You can see more about this on the net.
2..Nearly every child has past life memories, usually described as "when i was big.."My youngest daughter, will tell me in great detail about things she has no actual knowledge of, that happened when she was big..the most startling thing was once we were at a cemetery in my home town at my mothers grave,when she(3yrs) said "mummy i want to go over there... where i was when i was big.....so over we go and it was the grave of a relative..not one i knew though. I had never shown her this before yet out of all the graves there, that's where she wanted to be...
So yes i believe it 100%
