Could be. After the Viet Nam war they actually discovered dozens of new species there. We have vast areas of wilderness that isn't well tread.

Sure, I think "Big Foot" was real. As in past tense. ^_^ I just don't think he's been around for a good long time.
Consider that recently, wooly mammoth bones, as in fossils, were found as far south in Europe as Greece. And that some Ancient Greek records dating back to the Spartans and Thermopylae did describe the ancients *finding* some of the bones, and saying they were the bones of Giants and Cyclopes....As in, the mammoth remains were in some cases re-assembled by the ancient Greeks in an *upright* or two-legged position to demonstrate that giants once roamed the earth.
So yeah...imagine what the reactions of some ancient or even more recent historical peoples (like the Victorian English for example) would have been to other fossils, of either the primitive larger apes or early hominids (like the Neandertals).
Point is, there are *tons* of old bones around, and people have been finding them and telling stories about them and even putting them together, for centuries at least. And I wouldn't doubt that some of those stories evolved into the BigFoot legends.
I hope this helps, and thanks for your time! ^_^

That is an invalid question. First off we are called sasquatch. Secondly I don't think we are, I know we are. Thirdly, an appropriate question would be: Do sasquatch suffer from male pattern baldness? That answer is yes. And no we can't afford Rogaine.

I doubt it - I think its funny that scientists just 'discovered' a new wild cat in Asia - so I guess anything is possible.
