BACKGROUND INFO: five years ago i remarried. within a few months we ended up with full custody of his children (mother moved and left them behind). the mother moved back to our town about a year after she left but the courts wouldn't give her the children back. the youngest child is now a senior in high school.
NOW, ONTO THE DREAM: i was dreaming that i was having a very "in your face" arguement with my youngest step child (the senior). in this dream he said he was going to move in with his Mother. I awoke from the dream in a state of panic (AND HERE'S WHERE IT GETS WEIRD) when i awoke she was standing next to my bed... she looked like a MUCH YOUNGER version of herself... LONG before I would have ever known her and the details were VERY vivid... the hairstyle, the clothing... she was standing next to my bed with her arms at her sides just looking at me. i felt myself panic and rolled over NOT ABLE to go back asleep. WHAT WAS THAT??? trust me, i was NOT asleep when i saw her

...that the pictures of Jesus we see on church walls and in books is how Jesus really looked like?

The pictures show he was fair skinned and blue eyed, yet we were taught that he was born in a place where people were and still are of color. Why don't people of color demand changing the wronged *or not* images of Jesus?

What are your thoughts? I know this is an age old argument but it's still pretty interesting to me.

What would you see in the Mirror of Erised? What would your Boggart appear to be? What would your Patronus be in form of?

Personally, what I see in Mirror of Erised is me… GLORIOUS and VICTORIUS!! Everyone is cheering on me and raise its glass for me! They hold me up, and everyone shout my name in awe! My name goes down in history as one of the best man ever live!

My Boggart appears to be ME again! This time he looks lifeless, in total depression… without any fighting spirit left nor any more intention to live. As if he’s been given Dementor’s Kiss. He’s really worse than dead….

My Patronus is in form of Phoenix! She’s so beautiful and I always admire her. She can carry immensely heavy loads, her tears have healing powers, and she makes highly faithful pets Besides, I also believe in Phoenix-like philosophy. Phoenix burst into flame when it is time for them to die and is reborn from the ashes. Fascinating creatures!

How come all ghost encounters are spirits from the oldern days? Roman soldiers, world war one soldiers, 1940's to 1960's fashion clothes, no one sees a bloke wearing a hoody and jeans and there always seems to be a story behind it about how they were hung on that very spot 200 years ago etc etc.
People die everyday why are there no tales to tell about seeing them??
