I read some where that coins made in the year of someones birth are considered as lucky charms for the person born in that particular year
Is this true or not cause i got a 1984 10 cent piece and 1984 1 dollar coin which have been bringing me nothing but luck

I doubt it...my mom used to save all the '88 coins she could find...we have over $100 worth of 1988 coins. Yet I don't consider my life to be especiallly lucky. Not bad or awful, but certainly not extremely lucky.

have several coins from the year of my birth and feel as though they are nice to have. also at one time considered them " lucky " but discovered there are other items which bring me as much or better luck.

I dont think so, i have had many coins made in the year of my birth and it didnt give me any special luck.

I can't say that they are lucky, but if I happen to see one of the year of my birth or my kids, I do keep it. Don't really know why. Just something to remember the years that were special to me I guess.
