How come all ghost encounters are spirits from the oldern days? Roman soldiers, world war one soldiers, 1940's to 1960's fashion clothes, no one sees a bloke wearing a hoody and jeans and there always seems to be a story behind it about how they were hung on that very spot 200 years ago etc etc.
People die everyday why are there no tales to tell about seeing them??

Probably cos they're not real!! Or they are making it up.
I never really thought about it but i can see what you mean, when people say those kind of stories, they are always in old clothes from old times.
I don't know, it's such a strange thing but i'm quite sceptical but i do still wonder about that sort of thing sometimes, its wierd.

We do not agree on what is modest. I am a Christian and I think women should be allowed to wear pants because they are necessary, convenient, and useful for the work we do. I'm all for hiding our shape with a tunic, but we should be able to have bare arms and even bare calves in warm weather. Personally, I think that is all the modesty necessary to help men to control themselves around women. I don't approve of low-cut blouses, bare midriffs, short shorts, or form-fitting clothing on the torso because those styles are too revealing and have no useful purpose. Those quotes from the bible were appropriate in biblical times, but our lives are different now.

If ghosts are the spirits of someone who once lived, why do they have clothes? The clothes were never alive so how do they get into the afterlife? If they were wearing a seal fur coat why doesn't the coat come back in the image of the dead seal?

I dont know - I dont think ghosts have substance... ghosts are recordings in the atmosphere, and a haunting is just an event replayed.
A spirit is living (not physically obviously lol) but they come and go as they please... some choose to stay on a lower level and be on the earth plane... others prefer to move on to a higher vibrational level - where we cannot see them anymore.

He, he, he, that is so right,people die every day, yet all so called sightings are of ladies in a long dress, world war 1 soldiers,etc etc. No one sees a 'ghost guy' driving a porsche on a country road at 2am its always a horseman/woman.BOO!

People don't see ghosts. They are just nuts, or liars. Don't believe any of it. Posted by Supergenius "My My ye of little faith" .
Ghosts are not there for you to command and as regarding hoodies and people dying every day maybe they do not want to come back they way people are today.
Anyway you will all find out when you die, then it will be your decision if you want to come back.
